Gentilini family
The history of the Hotel Lastè is a journey through the generations of the Gentilini family, through passion, commitment and love for the Dolomites of Trentino. It all began back in 1850, when a modest manor house was built on the banks of the River Noce, immersed in the tranquillity of the woods.
A century later, in 1970, the land was acquired by Patrick’s grandfather, a respected farmer and woodsman in the area, to build a modest stable, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his family’s agricultural life.
The destiny of the Hotel Lastè took a significant turn in 1992, during the World Canoe Championships, when the house was converted into a hotel. From that moment on, the hotel became a reference point in Val di Sole for the hospitality and warm welcome typical of the area.
Today, after 25 years of history, the Hotel Lastè is undergoing a further phase of evolution. With the support of his parents Nadia and Fabio, their son Patrick and his partner Arianna are carrying out a project of improvement and renewal, keeping alive the authentic spirit and love for the mountains that has characterised the hotel since its origins.
